The one exception in amazing tier would be the pike beam and thats because its fairly easy to get something to break through shields and the trade off is immense. I find engi c to be the weakest of the lot.

Ftl drone tier list. Starting weapons can only be found aboard the ship that has them i include crystal weapons because getting to the crystal sector to buy them is an extremely rare and difficult. Again its most similar to the lanius a and the slug c the two other ships in ftl that also start with hacking. This is a tier list. This is not an alignment chart. Since ftl is a game of rng you want to minimize any variance as much as possible. Its a surprisingly small tweak because of how limited you are but it makes the ship so much more fun to play.
Is how i would rate them. Basically defence drones are great as they protect you from missiles and save you on repairs. Quadrant view view community rank. Now despite everything just mentioned this ship is still above average on the tier list and thats because the hacking drone control combination truly does offer a lot of value.
